A benefit of using LegFi with Treasury is having access to your Treasury card to make purchases safely and conveniently for your chapter. Below are some tips to get the most out of your card.
- Do not share your card with anyone, including other officers or members.
- To dispute fraudulent charges, email softwaresupport@omegafi.com.
- Please note if a dispute is lost there will be fees associated with the loss.
- The dispute can take up to 120 days. If Stripe (our payment processor) rules in your favor the vendor has up to 60 days to provide proof the charges are not fraudulent. If they are able to prove this the charges will be applied back to the card.
- Use only secure and trusted websites for online purchases.
- Do not save your card information on any website and be sure to sign out of a site after you complete your purchase.
- If you use your card for lodging expenses (e.g. hotel, AirBnB), expect an additional 20% hold on your available funds for security measures. We encourage you to load funds on your card to cover this additional amount.
- Regularly review your transactions. Daily is recommended.
- Take a picture, or screenshot, of your receipt immediately after your purchase.
- If you have not yet received your Treasury card, it will arrive in a plain white envelope addressed to you within 5-8 days of the enrollment date. When you receive you card, immediately activate it.
