Why did I lose my dispute?
Disputes are typically lost due to insufficient details provided in the explanation. Additionally, disputes are generally lost if the physical card was present when the transaction was made (vs. transactions made with virtual cards).
Is there a fee associated with submitting a dispute?
There is a $25 fee per dispute if the dispute is lost. This fee is non-refundable and cannot be waived.
How long will the dispute process take?
Disputes can take approximately 30-90 days after evidence is submitted to be resolved.
How long do I have to dispute my transaction?
You have 110 days from the date of the initial charge to dispute it. However, if you file a dispute with reason "Other", as opposed to the remaining reasons (canceled, duplicate, fraudulent, merch not as described, not received, or service not as described), the timeframe is reduced to 65 days for Visa and 80 days for Mastercard.
Can I dispute multiple transactions at once?
You can dispute multiple charges. However, they cannot be disputed together in one form, as you must dispute charges individually.
If I win the dispute, where will the funds be returned?
The funds will be returned to the Treasury account associated with the card.
Can I challenge a lost dispute?
Dispute decisions are final and not able to be to be challenged. At this point, you would need to contact the vendor directly to further dispute.
