HQ accounts have the ability to preset late fee settings that automatically populate on invoices created by HQ or any of their linked organizations. This ensures consistency across billing practices and simplifies the invoicing process.
Late fee presets can be applied in two ways:
Preset Late Fees for HQ Invoices – applies to invoices created and sent directly from the HQ account.
Preset Late Fees for Linked Organizations – applies to invoices created by any organization linked to HQ.
Both options include the ability to customize and lock settings so you can control how late fees are managed across your network.
Late Fee Settings Overview
Each late fee setup includes the following customizable options:
Type: Choose between a Percentage or Fixed Amount late fee.
Amount: Set the percentage or dollar amount to apply.
Grace Period: Specify the number of days after the due date before the late fee is applied.

Lock Setting: Determine whether the preset late fee can be changed when creating an invoice.
Locked: Users cannot edit or remove the late fee during invoice creation.
Unlocked: The preset late fee will auto-populate as a suggestion but can be modified or removed if needed.
How to Preset Late Fees for HQ Invoices
Click the Settings icon.
Select the Modules tab.
Scroll to the Late Fee Settings section.
Choose Percentage or Fixed Amount.
Enter the percentage or set amount you want to apply.
Enter a grace period (number of days after the due date before the late fee is charged).
Select whether to Lock the late fee or leave it unlocked.
Click Update Settings.
How to Preset Late Fees for Linked Organizations
Go to Organizations in the left navigation menu.
Select Organization Manager.
Click the Modules tab.
Toggle Sync Late Fees to On.

Complete the Late Fee Settings fields:
Choose Percentage or Fixed Amount.
Enter the percentage or set amount.
Enter the grace period.
Select whether the fee should be Locked or Unlocked.
Click Update Settings.
