From your LegFi Headquarters account, you can customize membership types for all chapters within your organization. LegFi has default labels to help organizations categorize and track the statuses of their members. These default membership type names can be customized to better fit the needs of each organization's nomenclature and brand.
The default membership type names in LegFi are:
- Alum
- Deceased
- Disassociated - Expelled
- Disassociated - Released/Uninitiated
- Disassociated - Disaffiliated
- Initiated Member
- New Member
- Other
- Other - Non-member/Boarder
- Suspended
Note: These default labels cannot be deleted since they are part of the base product of LegFi. Chapters cannot make any changes to the membership types set by their national organization via LegFi HQ.
You can view and customize membership types in LegFi HQ under Organizations > Organizations Settings > Membership Types.
Select the pencil icon in the Actions column to update the label. The custom label will appear in the Membership Type column once the changes are saved.
