Creating contracts in LegFi allows organizations to manage important agreements directly in the system. From member housing and financial agreements to customized documents with co-signers, contracts help streamline the signature process and ensure the right parties are involved.
Steps to Create a Contract
- Click Communication in the navigation menu
- Click Contracts
- Click Add New Contract
- Enter Contract Details
- If you want Co-Signers, this is were you will set the required number
- If you want Co-Signers, this is were you will set the required number
- Upload your Contract Files
- Select the Members that should receive the contract
- Click Submit Payment
How do members sign the contract?
Members will receive an email notification that they have a new contract to review and sign. They will then click the link from the email to review and sign the contract.
If the contract requires a co-signer, the member will receive an email notification that they have a new contract that requires them to add the co-signer. They will click the link from the email and add their co-signer. Both the member and the co-signer will then receive an email notification that they have a new contract to review and sign.
After signing, the member (and the co-signer) will receive a PDF copy of the signed contract.
